The app targets macOS 13 or newer and ships as a Universal 2 build for Apple Silicon and Intel. Monitoring remains useful across supported systems. Fan control is separate and activates only for an exact Mac model and macOS version that the app has qualified.

No. macOS owns cooling by default. Active control requires explicit local setup on an eligible configuration, and an interruption, expired control lease or safety fault returns ownership to macOS.

System and process metrics, thermal episodes, forecasts, cooling decisions and profiles are processed locally. Raw performance history is limited to 24 hours. The app intentionally avoids storing command lines, document paths, serial numbers and account identifiers.

With your permission, macOS can alert you when sustained thermal pressure starts, becomes critical and later resolves. Events are deduplicated by thermal episode, so ordinary fan-speed changes do not create notification spam. No cloud push service is involved.

This site serves the v0.7.0 package directly. Its Apple Developer ID signature, notarization ticket and Gatekeeper acceptance have been verified, and the ticket is stapled to the package. Keep Gatekeeper and System Integrity Protection enabled.
